Savannah Rapids Inside Spaces

Savannah Rapids Pavilion is a multi-purpose banquet/conference center accommodating groups as small as 12 to as large as 750 (for standing receptions). Perched atop an 80 foot bluff overlooking the beautiful Savannah River and the Historic Augusta Canal Headgates, the pavilion is the perfect backdrop for all types of events. Offering a commercial kitchen on the main level and a limited service kitchen on the lower level, you and your catering team will be able to hose a wonderful event- whether a family reunion, wedding and reception, conference, seminar, trade show, training session or organized meeting.

Savannah Rapids Pavilion is a relaxing environment, surrounded by the natural beauty of the historic park. Large and small rooms work perfectly for all events, and movable walls allow for several different configurations. Tables and chairs are included with your rental, and you are free to use the caterer of your choice.

Room Descriptions

The Cherry Board Room is a small board room with a conference table on the upper level of SRP. It is great for interviews, small business meetings, and team building breakout space. No kitchen access. The maximum capacity is 15 people.

The Mulberry Room is an interior room on the upper level of SRP. It is 472 square feet, and does not include kitchen access.

The Sycamore Room is a 925 square feet interior room on the upper level of SRP. It is typically used as a meeting space for presentations requiring low lighting, and does not include kitchen access. The maximum capacity is 25 people.

The White Oak Room is a 1330 square feet corner pavilion room on the upper level of SRP, offering great views with floor to ceiling windows. It is a great choice for meetings, rehearsal dinners, and showers. The maximum capacity is 65 people, and kitchen access is included.

The Combination Room is the 2766 square feet combination of the Mulberry, Sycamore, and White Oak rooms. It is frequently used for larger meetings, celebrations, appreciation days, or even as a picturesque chapel-style wedding ceremony. The maximum capacity is 150 people, and kitchen access is included.

The Rapids Room is our most popular room for wedding receptions, but is also great for fundraising events and trade shows. The 4654 square feet room with a scenic atmosphere and deck access is located on the upper level of SRP. With a maximum capacity of 250 people, it includes kitchen access and a built-in solid oak dance floor.

The Grand Rapids Ballroom is 7430 square feet and is created by opening the Combination Room and Rapids Room to create the largest space in the facility that covers nearly the entire upper level. This room includes deck access and kitchen access. The maximum capacity is 450 people. The Saturday rate includes 15 on-site hours, exclusive kitchen access, and the initial table and chair setup.

The Elm Room is a 350 square feet small meeting room on the lower level of SRP seating approximately 12 people. Kitchen access is not included.

The Red Cedar Room is a 1365 square feet lower level room great for meetings and small celebrations. It offers easy load-in and load-out accessibility and access to the covered deck across from the meeting. The maximum capacity is 50 people, and kitchen access is not included.

The Loblolly Pine Room is a 4240 square feet space on the lower level that is great for celebrations and wedding receptions. The maximum capacity is 180 people. Covered deck access across from the room, kitchen access, and portable bar are included.

The Entire Building totals 25,000 square feet and has a maximum capacity of 750 people. Quite often, guests may choose to rent the entire building for their event to fully accommodate their guest list or simply have exclusive access to the space. Make the most out of Savannah Rapids Pavilion and have the entire rentable space to create memories you and your guests will cherish.
