NOTICE OF PROPERTY TAX INCREASE

The Board of Education has tentatively adopted a millage rate, which will require an increase in property taxes by 1.72 percent.

All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearings on this tax increase to be held the Board of Education Building, 4781 Hereford Farm Road on July 24, 2018 at 6:00 pm.

This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 18.300 mills, an increase of 0.310 mills. Without this tentative tax increase, the millage rate will be no more than 17.990 mills. The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $200,000 is approximately $24.80 and the proposed tax increase for non-homestead property with a fair market value of $1,750,000 is approximately $217.00.

 

NOTICE OF PROPERTY TAX INCREASE

The Harlem City Council has tentatively adopted a millage rate, which will require an increase in property taxes by 5.73 percent.

All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearings on this tax increase to be held at the Harlem Public Safety Building, 110 West Milledgeville Road, Harlem, GA on July 23, 2018 at 7:00 pm.

This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 9.350 mills, an increase of 0.507 mills. Without this tentative tax increase, the millage rate will be no more than 8.843 mills. The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $200,000 is approximately $40.56 and the proposed tax increase for non-homestead property with a fair market value of $1,750,000 is approximately $354.90.

 

NOTICE OF PROPERTY TAX INCREASE

The Grovetown City Council has tentatively adopted a millage rate, which will require an increase in property taxes by 19.30 percent.

All concerned citizens are invited to the public hearings on this tax increase to be held at the Grovetown City Hall, 103 Old Wrightsboro Road on July 23, 2018 at 6:00 pm.

This tentative increase will result in a millage rate of 8.000 mills, an increase of 1.294 mills. Without this tentative tax increase, the millage rate will be no more than 6.706 mills. The proposed tax increase for a home with a fair market value of $200,000 is approximately $103.52 and the proposed tax increase for non-homestead property with a fair market value of $1,750,000 is approximately $905.80.
